OUR JFS FOOD DRIVE IS BEGINNING SOON!
002
JFS Food Pantries NEED YOUR HELP!
We will officially begin Temple Israel's food drive for the JFS Food Pantry on November 9th and go through December 12th. However, donations can be made any time beginning Monday, October 18th. You can bring your items to Temple Israel between 10:00am and 2:00pm Monday through Friday, and someone will help you unload. You can also call in a monetary donation, or you can make an online donation noting it is for the JFS Food Pantry, and we will do the shopping. As always, the JFS Food Pantry is in dire need of all food items and other non-perishable items, to help their clients get through the winter.
Our drive by drop off in front of Temple Israel, on Granby Street, will be held on Sunday, December 12th, between 11:00am and 1:00pm.
Please join us at Evening Minyan Services on Zoom at 5:30 pm on Sunday, December 5 as we “Light up the Night” with our own beautiful Temple Israel Chanukiah.

IN-PERSON SHABBAT SERVICES ARE COMING BACK

Have you missed in-person services and seeing your friends at the synagogue? Well, if so, you will be happy to know that, beginning in August, we will be having in-person services every Shabbat. Services will also be live streamed and on Zoom for those who are still not comfortable coming back, or who are unable to come to in-person services.

However, due to the very contagious Delta variant of the Coronavirus - we have changed our protocol for attending services. You MUST be vaccinated to attend services and everyone attending services MUST wear a mask. When services are over, you will be asked to leave your prayer books in your seat so we will know which seats need to be sanitized. Also, beginning the Shabbat of August 28th, you will see a RED X on some rows. DO NOT sit in the rows with the RED X as we are marking these rows off to help keep everyone socially distanced from each other.
