Prayer Wall

Nothing is left standing of the Ancient Temple in Jerusalem. But ever since The Old City was divided up– with the Jewish Quarter assigned to be near the Western Wall that supports Herod’s Temple Mount–  worship at that part of the Wall has taken on a sense of special holiness. Our people gather there to pray each day now. Travelers come and tuck  into niches between the stones of the Prayer Wall words of our deepest longings and our most wise praises.  Here is our electronic version of the Prayer Wall ready if you have words of prayer to share. The first examples were written by some of our students.prayer wall design

Thank God for guiding our ancestors and us in finding ways to evolve in our relationship with The Divine, when time and distance and changes in the world require us to live far from the home of our hearts.
